CFHC is a non-profit health care facility committed to keeping high-quality health care as affordable and accessible as possible. Free services include pregnancy testing and pregnancy options counseling.

We accept most major insurance companies among them Anthem Blue/Cross Blue Shield, Harvard Pilgrim, MVP, United Health Care, CIGNA, Medicaid, including NH Healthy Kids (we accept Gold, Silver and Bronze plans), and some University/College health plans.  If you have insurance we will check with your insurance company on your behalf to see if the services you want are a covered benefit and what your out-of-pocket expense may be, if any. If you have a co-pay and/or co-insurance, payment is expected on the day of your appointment.

Occasionally, CFHC offers a small amount of funding for contraceptives and GYN care through the Laura Fund. 

If you are un-insured, fees for gynecological services vary and we will provide you with an estimated cost when you make your appointment. Payment is expected at the time of service;  we accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover (debit or credit), cash, money orders and personal checks.

Both medical and surgical abortion services are covered under many major insurance plans.  CFHC accepts Anthem Blue/Cross Blue Shield, Harvard Pilgrim, MVP, United Health Care, CIGNA, and some Universtiy/College health plans.  If you have insurance we will check with your insurance company on your behalf to see if abortion is a covered benefit and what if any your out-of-pocket expense may be.  If you have a co-pay and/or co-insurance that sum is expected to be paid the day of your appointment.

Please note:  New Hampshire Medicaid does not cover abortion or abortion related services except in very rare circumstances (i.e. rape or endagerment to the woman's life).

For those without insurance coverage, fees are calculated on a “sliding scale” based on family size and income. Click here to view our Financial Status Worksheet to see if you may qualify for our sliding-scale fee.

Full payment is expected at the time of service.  We accept VISA, MasterCard and Discover (debit or credit cards), cashier’s checks, money orders and cash. We understand that many women experience difficulty obtaining the full fee for an abortion.  If you are struggling and concerned about how to pay for your care, please give us a call and our staff can help you problem solve.  For those who qualify, CFHC has an internal “women-in-need” Joan fund which may be able to offer assistance in the form of a discounted fee and/or referrals to other abortion loan funds.
