Whether you are coming to Concord Feminist Health Center for a regular gynecological appointment, STI testing, an abortion, or any of the many other services we provide, it’s helpful to know what to expect when you get here.  

Depending on the type of visit, there may be different steps to follow and forms to complete. The first step is simply to call and speak with one of our helpful, well-trained staff.  They will be able to answer your questions and explain what your appointment will involve. To better help you, we’ve also included much of this information on our website, using the drop-down menus. You may want to take a look at it before you call or use it afterwards for reference.

We accept most insurance plans and will work with your insurance company. If you don’t have insurance, the fee will be determined based on your household income and family size. When we set up your appointment, we can talk with you about payment options.    

We are located in a lovely, modernized historic building in downtown Concord. The comfortable environment includes a spacious downstairs waiting room when you check-in, as well as an upstairs waiting room and recovery room designed for your relaxation and ease. Our entire staff is committed to providing you with the highest quality of individualized care, delivered with compassion and respect. All our practitioners are New Hampshire licensed, and our physicians are board certified.   Our laboratory is licensed by the State of New Hampshire and meets all federal and state standards. We offer many on-site lab tests, as well as ultrasound for gestational dating.

While insurance or other financial restrictions may affect your choice, it’s also helpful to think about what’s important to you in a health care provider.
