I am directing this letter to the individuals who have chosen to descend on the Concord Feminist Health Center to spend the next 40 days bullying the clients. I want you to know that I myself faced a similar mob when I made the choice to terminate an unplanned pregnancy many years ago. The cruel words and false rhetoric failed to deter me, nor did they make me for one moment doubt my decision. Instead, people like you created a lifelong activist who has since worked to ensure that other women can exercise their own right to choose the best path for themselves.

You will not change any hearts and minds with your stupid campaign. Rather than trying to impose your personal beliefs on others, perhaps your time would be better spent working to provide access to family planning or by helping young mothers find support in our struggling communities.
